Hi Don, I just wanted to say hello and say how sorry I was that I missed you on my trip to Asheville about 2 weeks ago.  I didn't leave without a little bit of Asheville because I purchased a Vanilla Cream Cheese Pound cake.  I wanted to bring it back to my fellow employees as a way of saying thanks for the trip they gave me to The Biltmore for my 10 year anniversary with Capital Associates.  Well, needless to say, as soon as I opened it, it was gone!  And, they even gave me back the empty box and with a note that said: Please Refill Immediately!  So, as you can see, I picked the right treat to take back to Cary, NC.  And, so glad I got to see your location.

I saw on your website that you have free shipping for cakes going to our military personnel.  Is this still so?  Because within Capital Associates, many of us have adopted soldiers through Soldiers' Angels organization.  And, we want to remember them so we thought for a special month, we might want to send a cake or two to the SFC so he can share it with his troop.

Wedding Cakes

Cakes by Jane has been in the business of baking and decorating delicious and beautiful wedding cakes, bridesmaid cakes, grooms' cakes and specialty cakes since 1973. All of our cakes are made completely from scratch using Jane's own Southern Cream Cheese Pound Cake recipe, which we offer in a variety of flavors. We crack every egg by hand, sift all the flour by hand, bake each cake layer individually, and decorate each cake to meet the needs and desires of each client.

Individual Works of Art

Our cakes are not "standard" by any means. Each cake is an individual work of art from the inside out. Our philosophy is that your wedding cake should be as special and unique as your wedding. Wedding Prices

 

Buttercream-frosted cakes start at $3.50 per serving.

• The price of each cake includes one cake flavor and one filling.
• For multiple choices, the charge is $15 for each additional flavor.
• Square cakes are available for a 25% additional charge.
• Groom’s cakes also start at $3.50 per serving.

Cakes can be adorned with handmade sugar flowers (gumpaste). Handmade flowers may be purchased separately, per piece. Please ask for details.

If Cakes by Jane arranges fresh flowers on your cake, there is a $20 fee. You may purchase fresh flowers and bring them to us the day prior to your wedding. Or you may request your wedding florist to arrange the flowers on the cake.

Kitchen cakes are available for $50 each. (These are cakes in your choice of flavor that have been iced only. They are not decorated. They help to get the cake cutting started off on a faster pace.)

Delivery Charges start at $35.00 for destinations within Buncombe County. We can deliver a completed wedding cake within 200 miles of Asheville, NC; additional charge applies, contact us for details.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your date. The balance will be due 2 weeks prior to wedding date.

Silver cake plateaus and gold lacquer plate chargers may be rented for your reception.
