Ordering a delicious cake for yourself or as a gift for someone is easy in our online store. Browse though our online catalog to view the cakes and detailed descriptions of our flavors. Add your choices to your online shopping cart. If the cake is a gift for someone, add your own personalized message. When you are done shopping, checkout through our secure checkout process. With our flexible shipping options, you can choose to ship the items in your order to any number of different addresses. Once you've ordered with us, you will have your own personalized address book associated with your account that contains the addresses of everyone you have shipped cakes to before. When you return to shop in our online store again, you can ship to anyone already in your address book just by selecting their address from your address book. Entering The StoreClicking the Online Store button will take you into the online store from our home page. Here you can view pictures of all the cake flavors. You may select a cake flavor from the menu or click on one of the cake pictures to view a detailed description of the cake. |

Adding Items To Your Cart
From any of the cake description pages, you can add the item you are viewing directly into your shopping cart. Enter the quantity you would like and if the flavor you are selecting has more than one size available, select the desired size. Then click the button to add the item to your shopping cart and take you to the Order Summary page which shows your current order.Entering Gift Messages
The Order Summary page shows the items currently in your shopping cart. If you are shipping the cake to someone, you should enter a gift message for the recipient. This message allows you to enter up to three lines of text with your name and a personalized message which will appear directly on the shipping label of your cake box. To enter a gift message, click on the button beside the shopping cart item, which will take you to a Gift Message page where you may enter your message. Enter up to three message lines and click the button to save your message and return to the Order Summary page.Order Summary/Shopping Cart
From the Order Summary page, you may also modify the quantity of an item in your shopping cart by typing in a new quantity in the Qty column and clicking the button. If you wish to order additional cake flavors, you can select the cake from the list on the left hand side of the page or you can click the button to browse through the cakes. If you are ordering more than one cake, an option to Ship To Multiple Addresses will appear on the Order Summary page. Clicking this option will allow you to select an address for each item you are ordering when you checkout.Checkout
Your Account
Once you are done shopping and have all your desired items in your shopping cart, click the button on the Order Summary page to checkout. If you have ordered through our online store before, enter your email address and password and click the button to sign into your account. If you are a new customer, create a new account by entering your name, email address, and your desired password and click the button.Entering Shipment Addresses
Once you have logged in, you will be taken to the Ship To page to select where you would like to have your item(s) shipped. If this is the first time you have ordered online with us, you will need to enter the address information of where you would like the item shipped. The value you enter in the Nickname field is used to identify this address to you in your address book the next time your order with us. Select the "This is also the Billing Address" option if you are shipping the cake to yourself. This will prevent you from having to enter the same address information later for your billing address. If you have ordered with us previously, you can select a shipping address from the drop down list of addresses in your address book. You can select the "New Address" item from the list to add a new shipping address to your address book. If you are ordering multiple items and you selected the Ship To Multiple Addresses option on the Order Summary page, you will be able to select a shipping address for each item in your cart. When you have completed entering your shipping information, click the button to proceed to the Shipment Summary page.Selecting Shipping Methods
The Shipment Summary page contains the details of each shipment in your order. Here you may choose the shipping option to be used for each shipment. All of our shipments are done through UPS and the default shipping method is UPS Ground, but you may change this to 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air. If you have any special instructions for the shipment, for instance if you are ordering a cake that you wish to delay the shipment on until a specified date, you may enter these in the Special Instructions field for the shipment. You will see the merchandise total, shipping total, and shipment total displayed for each shipment. In addition, if the shipment is to a North Carolina address, the North Carolina sales tax is added. Finally, the Grand Total of your order is displayed at the bottom of the page. After you have reviewed your order, click the button to proceed to the next step of checkout.Entering Your Billing Address
If you are shipping to multiple addresses or you are shipping to a single address but your billing address is different than the address you are shipping to, you will be prompted to enter your billing address on the Billing and Account Information page. Here you may select an address from your address book or enter a new address. Once you have done this, click the button to proceed.Entering Payment Information
The final step of the checkout process is the Payment Information page. Here you should review your billing information and your order total. Once you have done this and are satisfied everything is correct, enter your credit card information and click the button to submit your order. You order will be processed in a matter of seconds and a confirmation page will be displayed with your order number. You will also receive a confirmation email with the details of your order.|
